Privacy
Effective 7 October 2026
This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit getgiga.io, buy GIGA, join the GIGA partner programme or use the GIGA app. GIGA is a product of Prime Signal Labs, LLC, which is responsible for the information described here (“we”, “us”). Questions go to support@getgiga.io.
The short version
- The GIGA app runs on your Mac. There is no GIGA account, and the app sends us no analytics, telemetry or crash reports.
- On this website we keep what you give us: your email address if you joined the founding list, and the details of your purchase if you buy.
- We use Rewardful to credit partners for the sales they refer. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal data.
Visiting this website
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes the technical details that come with every request, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
The site runs no third-party analytics and no advertising trackers, and its fonts are served from this site. The only third-party script is Rewardful’s referral script, described under “Partner programme and referral tracking” below.
Comparing two versions of the home page
We sometimes show visitors one of two versions of the home page to learn which one explains GIGA better. When we do, the site stores two cookies in your browser for 90 days: giga_ab, which remembers the version you were shown so you keep seeing the same one, and giga_vid, a random identifier that is not linked to your name, email address or any account.
While the comparison runs, our own site records, in private storage on Vercel, which version you saw, that the page was viewed, which “Get GIGA” button you clicked, and whether a purchase followed, each with that random identifier and the time. We do not record your IP address, browser details or email address for this, and no third party receives it. We use it only to count how each version performs. If you block or clear cookies, you simply see the usual home page and nothing is recorded.
The founding list
If you entered your email address in the founding-access form, we store that address and the time you sent it in private storage on Vercel, and use it only to contact you about GIGA. To stop the form being flooded, the site briefly counts requests per IP address in memory; that count is not saved.
Buying GIGA
Checkout runs on Stripe. Stripe collects what it needs to take the payment, such as your name, email address, payment method and billing details, and handles it under its own privacy policy. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
When a checkout completes, Stripe notifies our site, and we record:
- Stripe's reference for the payment (or for the checkout, when nothing was charged)
- the amount, and whether the licence was a gift
- your email address
- the partner referral, if you arrived through a partner's link
- the time of the purchase
The record is kept in private storage on Vercel. We use it to count the licences sold, to issue your licence and to handle refunds. A full refund deletes it.
After checkout, the thank-you page asks Stripe, from our server, whether your checkout completed and whether it was a gift, so it can show the right message. It shows your order reference back to you and stores nothing.
An invite code that covers the whole price goes through the same checkout and is recorded the same way.
Getting your licence
Licences are not issued by a server. On the publisher’s own computer, we read each completed purchase from our records and from Stripe (your name, email address, plan, amount and purchase time), sign a licence to your name and email address, and email it to you with a download link. The email is sent through Resend, an email delivery service, which receives your email address and the message with your licence attached.
That computer keeps a copy of each licence issued and a record of each email sent, outside any code repository, so that nobody is sent a licence twice. Gifted licences are issued and sent the same way.
Partner programme and referral tracking
Rewardful’s script runs on the pages of this site. When you arrive through a partner’s link, Rewardful stores a referral cookie in your browser for 60 days and records the visit for that partner. If you then buy, the site passes the referral to Stripe with your checkout. Rewardful is connected to our Stripe account and uses that purchase, including its amount and your email address, to credit the partner and work out their commission. Partners see their clicks, sales and earnings in a Rewardful dashboard.
We use Rewardful only to credit referrals and pay partners, not for advertising. If you block cookies, a referral cannot be credited; nothing else on the site changes.
If you become a partner, you sign up on Rewardful’s site, and Rewardful holds the details you give it. Commission is paid by PayPal or Wise, which receive the payout details you provide. We can see your partner account, your referrals and your earnings.
Emailing us
Mail to support@getgiga.iois passed by an email forwarding service to the publisher’s mailbox. We use what you send to answer you.
The GIGA app
- GIGA runs on your Mac and needs no GIGA account. Your conversations, memory, agents, settings and results stay on your Mac.
- The app sends us no analytics, telemetry or crash reports.
- Your licence is stored only on your Mac and is checked on your Mac against a key built into the app. It is never sent to us.
- GIGA sends your requests to the AI model providers you connect, and your agents reach the apps and services you connect. Those providers receive what you send them and handle it under their own terms. We do not receive a copy.
- GIGA runs on Hermes, an open-source engine by Nous Research, which it installs on your Mac. First setup downloads Hermes from GitHub, and the built-in local voice downloads its model from Hugging Face the first time it is used. These downloads carry no personal information, though, like any download, they show your IP address to the host.
Updates. GIGA checks a public, signed update file that we host on Vercel. The check sends no licence, name, email address or usage information. When an update is available and GIGA downloads it, the update component sends a random identifier with its requests. That identifier is created on your Mac and is not linked to your name, email address or licence.
Feedback. Sending feedback from the app is optional, and nothing is sent until you press send. Before you do, the app shows you exactly what will be sent:
- your note, the kind of note (bug, idea or question), your GIGA version and the name of the screen you came from
- diagnostics, only if you leave them switched on: your GIGA version and build, the engine's version and status, and your system version and processor type. They never include keys, memory or chat text
- a screenshot of the GIGA window, only if you add one
- a one-way code made from your licence's id, or from a random id for this install when there is no licence. We use it only to limit how often one install can send. Your licence itself is never sent
A note that cannot be delivered waits on your Mac and is tried again, and you can always send it by email instead.
Who receives information
Only the services named above, each for its part of the work: Vercel (hosting and storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (licence email), Rewardful (referrals), PayPal and Wise (partner payouts) and our email forwarding service (support mail). We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
Why we use it
We use your information to sell and deliver your licence and to support you (to perform our contract with you); to credit partners, keep records and protect the site (our legitimate interests); to keep the tax and accounting records the law requires (a legal obligation); and to email you about GIGA if you joined the founding list (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
How long we keep it
- Sales records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Founding list addresses: until you ask us to remove yours, or until we retire the launch list.
- Licence delivery records: for as long as we need them to make sure a licence is never sent twice.
- Support email: for as long as we need it to help you.
Where it is processed
We and the services we use are based in the United States, so your information is processed there. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on the safeguards those services provide, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted or object to how we use it. Email support@getgiga.io and we will reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some records, such as sales records, where the law requires it. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
GIGA and this website are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on this page.
